Megan Vos​

Picture
Bio: Megan Vos has been performing professionally for over 13 years. She graduated from Cornerstone University with a Bachelor of Music Education degree with emphasis on vocal music and piano. She currently is the K-8 General Music teacher and Musical Theater Director at Hopkins Public Schools. She serves at Frontline Bible Church as a keyboardist and vocalist for the Worship Arts Ministry. 
Performance Experience: Megan has performed for several weddings, corporate gatherings, celebration of life ceremonies and more. She recently has performed at the Amway Grand Plaza for the Ms. Wheelchair America pageant as well as a Corporate sponsored retirement event for the CEO of Spectrum Health at the JW Marriott in downtown Grand Rapids. Megan has performed The National Anthem for several collegiate sporting events. She has provided special music for several churches around West Michigan. Besides solo performances, she has also sung in A cappella groups and the Grand Rapids Symphony Chorus. Megan has also provided piano and vocal performance for several events at places like Frederik Meijer Gardens, St. Cecilia Music Center and several other community music events in the area.

BOOK MEGAN

Conor L.

​​Bio: Conor has played the cello since age four, and is currently a graduate of Western Michigan University with majors in cello performance, international relations, and German.  He studied under Bruce Uchimura, a former student of the legendary Leonard Rose.  He also works and performs with Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp.
Performance Experience: Conor has performed and placed in several competitions in the state of Michigan, placing first in the 2016 Louis Potter Cello Competition, first in the 2014 and 2016 Farmington Musicale Competition, and second in the 2015 University of Michigan German Day Music Festival.  He has also performed with the 2015 and 2016 Michigan Youth Arts Festival and the 2015 and 2016 Michigan All-State Orchestra, as well as with the Detroit Civic Youth Orchestra between 2012 and 2016.  Outside of his classical studies, Conor also enjoys playing jazz, rock, and pop music for a variety of other functions.

"JD"

Bio: JD is a guitar player who has a love and passion for playing, teaching, writing, and learning more about guitar and music. He has been playing guitar for 17 years, and studied professionally for 10. He has also been playing piano for 8 years, and Electric Bass for 6 years.  JD studied under renowned Chicago Jazz guitarist, Freddie Franken, during his tenure at Olivet Nazarene University where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Music in 2018. 
Performance Experience: JD has traveled and performed with a public relations band from Olivet University to several churches, events and retreats in the Midwest for four years. He performed with several jazz combos, a jazz band, contemporary pop band, choir as well as many other performance groups as well. After college JD played professionally in the Chicago and Chicagoland areas playing jazz, blues, classical guitar, and many other genres. While there he played for weddings, parties, restaurants, jazz clubs, country clubs, bars, open mic, and other live music events. JD also can play the following styles: Traditional Gospel, Urban Gospel, Funk, R&B, and Soul! JD currently serves as the Worship Arts Coordinator at Frontline Bible Church in Byron Center, MI.

Kathryn S.

 Bio: Kathryn S. has been performing for over 15 years. She is currently attending the University of Michigan pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Biophysics. She serves at Frontline Bible Church as a violinist and vocalist for praise band.
Performance Experience: Kathryn has performed for several weddings, pit orchestras, local organizations including the Grand Rapids Youth Symphony and Lamb of God Kalamazoo. Recently she performed for the National Blood Authority conference at the Amway Grand Plaza hotel.​ ​
Instrument: Violin ​(We recommend piano accompaniment with this instrument) and String Ensemble

Melinda L.

Bio: Melinda has taught piano lessons for 30 years and has been performing vocally and instrumentally for over 20 years. She has studied music at Grand Valley State University and Grand Rapids Community College. She was involved in several choirs throughout college. She has served in the Praise Band Ministry at Frontline Bible Church for more than 20 years. 
Performance Experience: Melinda has performed for many weddings, celebration of life ceremonies, Christmas events and much more. She also has performed the National Anthem at a West Michigan Whitecaps Baseball game, summer festival and provided music for other special events throughout West Michigan. As an accompanist, Melinda has worked at Solo and Ensemble competitions as well as accompanied for a High School performance of "The Sound Of Music" and many other school concerts.

David M.

Bio: David has been playing guitar since age 14. With a Bachelor of Music from GrandValley State University he went on scholarship to receive a Masters degree at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. 
Performance Experience: Throughout his career, David has performed many styles of guitar music, from lead guitar in both acoustic and electric rock bands to various classical guitar concerts and recitals, holiday events, private parties and weddings throughout the United States. He is also a member of several ensembles, including the Grand Rapids Guitar Quartet and the Lake Michigan Guitar duo.  David has toured across the U.S. including performances in Pittsburgh, Denver, Salt Lake City, San Diego and Albuquerque. In addition to ensemble performances, David performs with local and national musicians for a variety of recitals and events, including a special performance at the Miss Wheelchair USA 2010 opening banquet dinner, and Spanish guitar with the pit  orchestra for  the production of Man of La Mancha.

Ryan O.

Bio: Ryan is a multi-instrumentalist who began drumming at the age of 12. Ryan is also a music producer and has gotten his music placed in short films and commercials. 
Performance Experience: He has experience drumming for various events, camps, churches, and is currently a drummer for a band based out of Grand Rapids.

Tre D.​

Bio: Tre began his music journey back in 2007. His first love was guitar, then he picked up on songwriting and vocal recording. Though he had a natural talent in singing, he decided it would be better to focus on rapping to build his confidence and stage presence. After winning a karaoke contest downtown for GRAPF, he decided it was time to go full steam ahead with singing. As he honed his skills in song writing and producing, he eventually picked up on keys to accompany his voice. Today, Tre continues to perform regularly, aims to continuously release music on all streaming platforms, and put a smile on the lips of each audience member.
Performance Experience: Tre regularly performs for his home church, for the Grand Rapids Asian Pacific Festival, various contests & concerts held at Wealthy ST. Theatre, Billy's lounge, Holland Theatre, and various open mic platforms.

BOOK TRE

Erich H.

Bio: Erich is a graduate of Central Michigan University (Bachelors of Music Education) and Western Michigan University (Masters in Music Education). His choice was obvious to find a career in music, and it was his love of working with children that lead him to teaching. Though he holds a degree in education, he firmly believes in the importance of being a performer as well a teacher. Erich has helped start groups such as American Roots, Cello Mafia, and The Obsidian String Quartet.  
Performance Experience: Erich has performed with Midland Symphony Orchestra, Midland Music Society, West Shore Symphony Orchestra, Alma Symphony Orchestra, Traverse City Symphony Orchestra, and Greater Lansing Symphony Orchestra, and is the Associate Principal Cellist for the Holland Symphony Orchestra. Erich has had the opportunity to perform with amazing artists such as Sarah Chang, Mark Wood, Smokey Robinson, Barrage, Itzhak Perlman, The Trans Siberian Orchestra, and Josh Groban.

BOOK ERICH

Rachel P.

Bio: Rachel has been playing viola professionally for over 9 years. She studied viola performance at Kalamazoo College under the directrion of Karin Code as well as masterclasses with Rachel Barton Pine, and Heidi Castelman. She has many years of ochestral and ensemble experience as well. She has studied with John Varineau (Grand Rapids Symphony), Elisabeth Sooy, Yizhak Schotten, Steven Tenenbom and more. 
Performance Experience: Rachel has performed for several weddigns, coprorate gatherings, celebration of life ceremonies and more. She was the Principal violist in the Kalamazoo Philharmonia. She has been teaching local students for 10 years in both viola and violin. Currently, she is playing viola while on tour with Arise Collective Theater. She also plays regularly with churches in the area. 
Instruments: Viola (We reccommend piano accompaniment, or string duet with this instrument)

Carrie P.

Bio: Carrie has been playing cello professionally for over 8 years, though she has studied and played for over 11. Her studies in cello performance include private instruction at Western Michigan University under the instruction of Bruce Uchimura, and at Kalamazoo College under David Peshlakai. She has particpated in masterclasses with Richard Narroway, Eric Kim and Amit Paled. Carrie has been a member of cello ensembles, string quartets and a member of the Kalamazoo Junior Symphony. 
Performance Experience: Currently Carrie is on tour with Arise Collective Theater as their cellist. She also plays in a Contemporary Christian band, Arrows Rising. She has performed for several weddings, corporate gatherings, celebration of life ceremonies and more. 
Instruments: Cello (We reccommend piano accompaniment, or string duet with this instrument)
